3" Foam Product

Street Deck builders rejoice! Roarockit now offers our high density foam slabs in the perfect size for your custom double kick street deck molds.

The new foam product matches up with our Street Deck sized veneers (9.5” x 34”) and is 3” thick to allow for steeper kick tails. It also allows builders to create a mold for their street deck veneers without having to cut down a 12” x 48” slab... which equals less wasted material!

We will be offering this product on our website in two different packages:

 (2) Slabs of 3" x 9.5" x 34" High Density Foam - $39.99

Manifesto Festival

We are excited to announce that for the first time, the Roarockit Skateboard Company will take part in the Manifesto Festival's – Live at the Square event on Saturday, Sept. 20th.

If you are not familiar with Manifesto, they are a non-profit organization that inspires and unites young people through arts & culture. They have been doing great work in our community for over 8 years, and we are proud to join forces with them for this annual event!

Live at the Square takes place in downtown Toronto at Yonge & Dundas Square and is an all-day, free outdoor event that features some of the cities best performers, artists and brands. This year will feature musical performances by Ryan Leslie, Raury, Bishop Nehru, Saukrates and many, many more! There will also be live Dance Battles, Showcases, Graffiti and Cyphers, lots of great food in the Freshest Foods market and some amazing local brands in the Freshest Goods marketplace. Check out the Manifesto website for full details of the jam packed event!

Live at the Square - facebook event page here!

We will be there in a tent alongside our flagship program the Oasis Skateboard Factory, and festival veteran Champstiles Woodburning. Together we will be showcasing our innovative skateboard building process and how it can be used to engage youth through hands-on learning and art focused education.

Join us from 12pm-7pm at Yonge & Dundas Square for this great event!

Grip Tape? WE DO NOW!!

It's a natural fit... If you're going to buy quality skateboard veneers and make your own custom deck, you might as well grab enough grip tape for your boards from the same place too, right?!

Roarockit now offers two different types of high quality grip tape for board builders:

9" Wide Street Deck - Offers a fine grit grip for skateboards and mild cruising. Sold in 34" lengths to match the dimensions of our Street Deck sized Maple veneers.

11" Wide Longboard Coarse - This coarse grip tape will really lock your feet in place while riding downhill and busting out slides. It comes in 48" lengths to match the dimensions of our Longboard sized Maple, Birch and Bamboo veneers.

We are currently offering the grip tape as an add-on to our veneer pack products, and also selling it in packs of 5 on its own.

If you would like to inquire about custom quantities or lengths, feel free to call or email

Generation Grind

The Generation Grind – Skateboard Art Show was recently on display at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto, ON. The show ran from April 14-20th, and the grand opening event (Wednesday, April 16th) attracted over 250 people from the local skateboard and art community.

Generation Grind matched up local artists with students from the Oasis Skateboard Factory (OSF) to collaborate on a series of boards based on their experiences as youth in the city.

Each board was available for auction, and the event raised over $1600 in support of the innovative OSF program. Below is a recap of the work put into creating the exhibit, and the finished boards that were on display.

Post #SWAP7...Post

Another Swap Meet has come and gone, and everyone involved is still riding the high from such an incredible day! Every year we seem to get more and more people out for the event, and the community blows us away with their creativity, kindness and energy.

There were people giving out free gear to new riders (so awesome), delicious baked goods and bbq, documentaries being filmed, live art being created, AMAZING weather, tons of sponsored giveaways, more photos than ever... and of course, SWAPS galore!!

Check out our full gallery of photos posted to our facebook page here

And as always, we are proud to share another Skate Invader film documenting the days festivities by local photo/videographer Jonathan Nuss:

Here are some of our favourite photos from the event as well:

Swap Meet couldn't be done without the help of many friends and volunteers!
